As the New Year quickly approaches, an optimistic sense of promise is in the air. In an effort to improve their lives in some way, most people make a New Year’s resolution, a promise to themselves that something will be different in the next year of their lives.
Que auspicious quote – “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step” (Lao Tzu). Where will your journey begin? Will your resolution start by running a marathon or trying a 30-day challenge in an effort for a healthier lifestyle? Or will you take a trip to a remote area of the world you have always talked about, but never visited? Or will you set your sights on my personal favorite, learning something new?
Just as you set your personal goals for the New Year, so should you set resolutions for your marketing initiatives for your brand. To help you set brand goals, we’ve created our ambitious list of marketing resolutions to target for the New Year.
As you plan your marketing resolutions, keep in mind that achieving a goal is a process. If your resolution is to travel more, you have to buy your plane ticket before you can arrive in Italy. We suggest you break your resolution into a few smaller, attainable goals and revisit them throughout the year. This allows you to accomplish manageable goals while working toward your larger year-long resolution.
